DONNA, TEXAS – Donna Independent School District continues to build on its commitment to leadership excellence and professional growth through its partnership with The Holdsworth Center, with Veterans Middle School selected to participate in Wave 1 of the Campus Leadership Program. Veterans Middle School is among the first campuses in Donna ISD to take part in this initiative, which emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, high-performing teams, and leadership practices that support student success.
Donna ISD is one of only six Texas school districts selected to participate in The Holdsworth Center's inaugural School Leadership Blueprint program. This partnership reflects the district's growth mindset and commitment to continuously refining its practices, building on existing strengths, and exploring new approaches to educational leadership. Through professional learning and collaboration, district and campus leaders have opportunities to exchange ideas, expand their expertise, and further align their work with district priorities.
As part of this ongoing partnership, Donna ISD's district leadership team recently engaged in strategic discussions with The Holdsworth Center focused on leadership practices, shared goals, and opportunities for continued growth. The selection of Veterans Middle School for the first wave of campus-level participation represents another step in extending these professional learning opportunities across the district and supporting a culture where leadership development is an ongoing priority.
Through continued training, collaboration, and campus-level engagement, Donna ISD remains committed to investing in its educators and fostering a culture of continuous learning at every level. This partnership reinforces the district's belief that effective leadership is an ongoing journey of learning, reflection, and refinement, with every effort centered on advancing its Number One Student Outcome of graduating all students prepared for college, career, or military readiness.
