More than 200 Donna ISD students are now registered to vote following our annual Fall Voter Registration Drive. As students prepare for life beyond high school, understanding their rights, their voice, and their civic responsibility is an important part of becoming informed and engaged citizens. Through this experience, students learned about the voting process and how participation gives them a voice in the government and communities they are part of. Thank you to BLOOM RGV, our Government and Economics teachers, and Social Studies Strategist Ms. Janie Alexander for bringing this important learning experience to our students.
