At Donna ISD, preparing students for life after graduation means showing them the possibilities firsthand, from college campuses to industries across our region. Our welding students visited the Port of Brownsville, where they toured the facility and learned about its history, companies, import and export operations, careers, and starting salaries. Students saw where their skills can lead and gained real-world knowledge of opportunities close to home. It’s our Number One Student Outcome at work: preparing students with the skills, knowledge, and connections for the path they choose.
