Please ensure students arrive on time and are present on their testing day. We also ask that students leave personal technology at home (cell phones, smart watches, AirPods, etc.). When persuasion meets invention…magic happens. ✨🛠️

Miss V’s 7th-grade ELAR students teamed up (partners/groups) to invent a product or business needed today, then designed a commercial or poster using a randomly assigned rhetorical device. After each presentation, classmates guessed the technique and led thoughtful, student-driven discussions—asking follow-ups, debating effectiveness, and celebrating creativity. Students used a variety of tech tools and real-world advertising examples to collaborate, take ownership of their learning, and have fun doing it! 🙌📱💡

7th grade: Tied Veterans 1-1 (lost on penalties), then beat Central 3-0, and finished 4th after a tough 0-3 match vs. Mary Hoge. What a fight!
8th grade: Champions! They beat Sauceda 1-0 in the semis and Veterans 1-0 in the final to take 1st place. 🏆

7th grade: A powerful 5-0 win over Todd — Venustiano Medrano with two goals, Adolfo Martinez and Domenec Cervantes each adding one, and Itan Gonzalez calmly finishing a penalty in the last second. What a clutch moment!
8th grade: Another strong performance — 4-0 victory with Jorge Torres scoring a hat trick (3 goals) and Martin Torres fighting hard for the final goal. Proud of both teams! 👏

Heart, hustle, and a whole lot of grit — our Lady Braves battled all weekend at the Solis MS 8th grade B tournament and pushed their consolation match vs Cuellar to a decisive 3rd set. Though the win slipped away, their spirit never did — and we know they’ll come back even stronger. Way to go, Lady Braves! 💙💪🌟🏐

What a day for Braves soccer! ⚽️🔥Yesterday, in their battle against Mary Hoge, our 7th grade boys fought hard and finished with a 1-1 tie thanks to a clutch goal from Itan Gonzalez. The 8th grade turned up the heat in a race-against-the-clock match — Jorge Torres netted two goals and Johnedw Martinez delivered an incredible finish. Huge midfield assists from Oscar Valadez and Orlin Cruz helped secure a 3-2 victory over the Jaguars. Proud of every player’s effort!
