Lets give a huge shoutout to our 7th grade boys soccer team for placing 1st place in the B. Garza Tournament this weekend. The boys played outstanding soccer throughout the tournament.
Game 1:
The boys defeated Mary Hoge 1–0. Carlos Iturbe scored the goal with an assist from Jofiel De La Cruz.
Game 2:
We defeated Veterans 3–0. Goals were scored by Victor Becerra (1) and Carlos Iturbe (2). Assists were recorded by Jofiel De La Cruz and Kevin Martinez.
Championship Game:
The boys defeated Chacon 4–0 to win the tournament championship. Goals were scored by Victor Becerra (1), Jofiel De La Cruz (1), and Carlos Iturbe (2).
The boys played an amazing tournament and represented Sauceda very well. Please make sure to congratulate them when you see them on Monday.
