Reserve Grand Champion Steven Wong

JWC is proud to celebrate the outstanding accomplishment of Steven Wong, who earned the prestigious title of Reserve Champion in Horticulture at the 2026 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show.

The Reserve Champion honor is one of the highest awards presented in a plant exhibition, recognizing an entry that demonstrates exceptional cultivation, care, and presentation. As the second-highest award in the competition, this distinction highlights the dedication, patience, and skill required to successfully grow and showcase a high-quality plant.

During this year’s Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show, judges carefully evaluated numerous entries from talented participants across the region. Steven’s horticulture project stood out for its quality and attention to detail, earning him this distinguished recognition.

Steven’s achievement reflects the time, effort, and commitment he invested in his project. Successfully growing and presenting a plant at this level requires knowledge, responsibility, and perseverance—qualities that Steven demonstrated throughout the process.

The JWC community is incredibly proud of Steven Wong and congratulates him on this remarkable milestone. His success serves as an inspiration, and we look forward to seeing his continued achievements in the future.
