The program also offers a glimpse into college life, including on-campus living and mentorship from established community and student leaders.

Later in June, from the 23rd to the 27th, Destiny will participate in the Cockrell School of Engineering's MITE program. This five-day camp allows high school juniors to discover the exciting world of engineering firsthand. Participants will:

Destiny expressed her enthusiasm about these programs, "I am thrilled to learn valuable leadership skills and gain deeper insights into the fields of business and engineering, which will help me make informed decisions about my future."

While she remains undecided about her career path, Destiny is optimistic about the opportunities these programs will provide, "I am still uncertain about which route I want to pursue after high school, but I hope attending these programs will give me more insight and help me determine the best path for me."

Destiny's mother, Aracely Sherchand, couldn't be more proud: "I am very proud of Destiny. She is very determined with her studies and a hard worker who is also involved in many extracurricular activities. Her dedication and commitment are truly inspiring."
