Middle School

Donna ISD’s four middle schools provide a strong foundation in core academics while offering students opportunities to pursue advanced learning tailored to their interests. To prepare students for success in a global economy, we proudly offer a Dual-Language Academy at the middle school level.

This program allows students to take core classes in both English and Spanish, developing biliteracy skills that broaden their linguistic horizons and open doors to future opportunities. At D.M. Sauceda STEAM Academy, students can explore specialized programs in forensic science, robotics, and other innovative fields, sparking curiosity and equipping them with the skills needed for careers in science, technology, engineering, and math.

 In addition to academic excellence, extracurricular activities play a vital role in student development by fostering teamwork, creativity, and leadership. Donna ISD middle schools offer a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including robotics, dance, cheer, band, mariachi, theater arts, athletics, and more. These programs enrich students’ educational experiences, building on lessons learned during school hours and helping them grow into well-rounded individuals.
