Principal Ms. Hinojosa

   First and foremost, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Maria G. Hinojosa and I am honored to be the new Principal at Salinas STEAM Elementary. I have served our Donna ISD community for over 11 years in different capacities which include teacher, Curriculum Specialist, and Principal. My educational experience includes being a Donna High School Graduate, earning a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and holding a Masters in Educational Administration and another in Special Education.

   As an educational leader, I strongly believe in establishing a collaborative learning environment with high expectations as we build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. I am eager to meet all of our students & parents along with members of the Salinasville community as we continue to strive for educational excellence.

   I am excited about joining this community and partnering with you in ensuring success for the remainder of this school year and many years to come.
