The Testing and Evaluation Department is responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of the State of Texas Assessment Program, which includes STAAR, STAAR EOC, STAAR Spanish, STAAR Alt. 2, TELPAS, TELPAS Alt. and required field tests and studies mandated by the Texas Education Agency.  The Testing Department coordinates all testing logistics, including ordering and distributing testing material to Donna Independent School District campuses and preparing and returning all testing materials to the state contractor (Cambium).  In addition, required testing training, monitoring testing procedures to ensure test security and confidentiality, and investigating and reporting any and all testing irregularities and security violations directly to the Texas Education Agency is handled by this department.
